She has attended special training courses in PEGASO Hands-on Training workshop: Introduction and implementation of Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDI’s).
During 2007-2011.

She did her Practical Training, B.Sc. and M.Sc. thesis at HCMR and since 2011 she is a research assistant at the Institute of Marine Biological Resources & Inland Waters, HCMR. She has participated in European and National research projects and since 2012 she is a PhD student in the Department of Marine Sciences (University of the Aegean).

She has research interests in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Spatial analysis, Geostatistics, spatial interpolation methods, analysis of spatio-temporal patterns, regression modeling (GAM, GLM etc.), GIS-based multi-criteria decision analysis, cartography and also in implementation of modeling and spatial analytical methods for the analysis of Vessel Monitoring System (VMS) data and their interaction with biotic and abiotic parameters.

She has contributed 2 papers in peer-reviewed journals, as well as more than 20 other publications (i.e. conference proceedings, magazines, technical reports).

She is also a member of Geographers Association of Greece (G.A.G).
