    His main research interests are focused in biogeography and conservation of freshwater fishes, biological monitoring and habitat assessment. He is accredited surveyor in River Habitat Survey by Riverdene Consultancy in U.K. Since 2012, he has participated in 6 national and international projects for freshwater quality monitoring and fish conservation assessment.
