She has attended special training courses in Stock assessments and fisheries advice (ICES, Denmark), Functioning and evolution of Mediterranean Marine Ecosystems (John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation – SESAME project), Statistical Modelling and Time series analysis of Biological Data (Institute of Oceanology, BAS, Bulgaria – SESAME project) and Statistical analysis & Data assimilation in biogeochemical oceanography (IFM-GEOMAR, Germany – EUR-OCEANS/CARBOOCEAN project)
Since 2006, she holds a position as a research associate (Statistician) at the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research. Her research interests include: Statistical Modelling, Time series Analysis, Spatial & Temporal models in fisheries stocks, Geo-Statistics, Fisheries Management, Bio-economic Modelling, Risk Assessment, Evaluation of Ecological Indices and Ecosystem-Based Spatial Management. She has participated in more than 15 national and international projects. She has contributed more than 20 publications in peer-reviewed journals, as well as more than 25 other publications (i.e. conference proceedings, book chapters, special publications, newspaper and magazine articles).
She is a member of the Geotechnical Chamber of Greece as well as of the Hellenic Oceanographers’ Association.
