During 2011-today, she holds a position as a research associate in Institute of Marine Biological Resources and Inland Waters – Hellenic Centre for Marine Research.

She has research interests on Environmental Monitoring and Management, Environmental Water Resources management, Integrated River/Lake basin management, GIS applications, Aerial/Satellite Remote Sensing.

She has participated in 18 national, international and European Union (EU) projects.

She has contributed 22 papers in peer-reviewed journals, as well as 24 other publications (conference proceedings, special publications) and co-authored more than 30 technical reports.
