The project constitutes a preliminary investigation for the impacts of an Aeolian park in Ag. Dynati, Kefalonia, on the Flood risk of the respective catchment. Initially, the current geomorphologic conditions will be studied and mapped while the contribution of roads and air generators’ foundation surfaces in the disturbance of the natural landscape will be recorded.
The hydrologic catchment will be delineated and the current land uses will be mapped. The water budget before and after the constructions will be estimated and the hydrographic network affected by the constructions will be identified. The amount of surface runoff created by the constructions will be estimated and compared with the respective natural values.
