Since 2014 has worked as a research assistant in the Institute of Marine Biological Resources and Inland Waters.

He has mainly worked at the sorting and taxonomic identification of benthic macroinvertebrates for the purposes of the ecological quality assessment for the Water Framework Directive.

His major research interest focus on: Ecological quality monitoring based on the biological, hydro-morphological and physicochemical elements of the water bodies.
