Since 2013, she holds a position as a research assistant in Institute of Marine Biological Resources and Inland Waters, Hellenic Centre for Marine Research.
She has participated in 2 national projects. She has research interests on (i) ecological quality assessment of surface waters by the use of chemical, hydromorphological and biological indices, (ii) implementation of the Water Framework Directive 2000/60/EU, (iii) ecological evaluation of non wadeable rivers (iv)sampling and identification of benthic macroinvertebrates.
She has contributed with 13 publications (i.e. national and international conference proceedings).
