In the framework of the research project “Epirus Waters”, implemented by the Institute of Marine Biological Resources and Inland Waters (IMBRIW) and funded by the Green Fund, members of the project team carried out educational activities in the areas of Agios Georgios, Louros and Neochori, Arta from 21-24 May 2024.
18 teachers and 180 students of primary education participated in total. The aim of the activities was to raise the awareness of the school community on issues of water quality and sustainable management of water ecosystems, as well as to present the network of automatic monitoring stations developed within the project.
