Aglaia Legaki studied in the faculty of “Animal Science and Aquaculture” at the Agricultural University of Athens and is a graduate of the Master course of “Oceanography and Marine Management” of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. In her undergraduate thesis she focused on fish growth under controlled conditions and in her MSc studies on bivalve population dynamics and molecular analyses of bivalves. From 2013 to 2015 she worked in Lifewatch Greece project as Data Manager, ondigitization of marine biodiversity data. Since 2019 she is working in the National Data Fisheries Collection Framework (DCF) in the HCMR. Her main responsibility in this project is the collection and analysis of fishery and biological data for the determination of age/growth parameters and maturity of fish. Her current research interests focus on fishery biology (ageing methodology and reproduction of fish). She has participated in 3 national and 2 international conferences.
