Environmental impact of Community legislation into a Greek catchment. The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of the implementation of environmental policy of the EU, and particularly the Water Framework Directive, in the catchment of Acheloos River and how these policies affect the socio-economic state and sustainable development of the region.
