The European Commission, following complaints from local groups in Kefallonia island, requested from the Ministry of Agriculture Development and Food the conduct of a rapid assessment of the possible effects of cage fish farming (2 companies, 3 cage sites) on the conditions of Argostoli Gulf and the relation between this activities and other economic activities in the region.
