Her research interests focus on different aspects of the reproduction of fish species, their spawning strategies, ecology, and population dynamics. The study of these research areas involve various approaches such as spawning habitat modelling, investigating stock-recruitment relationships, implementing comparative analysis of life history characteristics related to reproduction, such as fecundity of fish in relation to fish size, and fish ecology.
Another area of interest in which she is involved is implementing stock assessment models for small pelagic fish species of the eastern Mediterranean Sea.
