Begun his working experience as a research associate in research projects at the National Technical University of Athens and the University of Aegean. Since 2016 he works at the Institute of Marine Biological Resources and Inland Waters, HCMR.
His research intersests include: fisheries acoustics with emphasis on small pelagic and mesopelagic fish, acoustic wave propagation and underwater acoustics, numerical modeling and numerical simulation methods for the study of uncertainty in dynamical systems, propagation of uncertainty in scientific applications, scientific computing, hardware & software design for scientific field applications.
He has contributed in 10 peer-reviewed papers, He has participated in the ICES working groups WGFAST and WGACEGG, and the ICES workshop WKMESOMeth.
