  • PhD student, School of Rural and Surveying Engineering, National Technical University of Athens (2018–Present)

She joined the Institute of Marine Biological Resources and Inland Waters (HCMR) in 2013, holding a research assistant position. She has been engaged in research on both marine and freshwater ecosystems.

During 2016-2017, she had been working at the National Fisheries Data Collection Programme in Fisheries Research Institute (INALE). Since 2018, she is employed in the Project “Monitoring and recording of the ecological status (quality, quantity, pressures, uses) of Greek waters” (IMBRIW). Her research interests are focused in freshwater fish biology and ecology, river monitoring, river connectivity, ecological restoration. She has attended training courses in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Ecological Data Analysis using R.

She has participated in 6 national and international projects. She has contributed 9 publications (i.e., conference proceedings, special publications) and co-authored 5 technical reports.
