Surveillance monitoring program for the Ohrid Lake Watershed
The project deals with the sampling and analysis of biological quality elements, surface water and sediment in rivers, to assess the ecological, chemical / physico-chemical status of 20 different sites in the wider Ohrid area. The purpose of the above research is to determine the impacts of anthropogenic activities in the area and to quantify the pollutants produced by the various sources of pollution.
Sampling, analysis and treatment of all water quality parameters will be carried out in accordance with the specifications and requirements of the Water Framework Directive (WFD, EU / 2000/60).
