Demonstrating innovative pathways addressing water and soil pollution in the Mediterranean Agro-Hydro System – Path4Med

The proposed project aims at a multi-stakeholder and multi-sectoral approach that will lead to clear pathways for zero pollution of water and soil in the agro-hydro system of the Mediterranean and other European seas.

With an innovative triple-benefit approach, the project targets economic, social, and environmental sustainability to ensure human well-being and ecosystem functionality.

The proposed project promotes technologies and solutions for participatory agricultural management, enhancing monitoring technologies and promoting integrated solutions.

The Path4Med pathways will be implemented in eleven regions across Europe, with the Spercheios River basin being one of them. The project will involve 26 partners and is expected to last 48 months.
